Did you know apart from being a great singer and actor, the Fresh Prince AKA Will Smith has also been a muse for an artist? Well, if you are into artistic pursuits, specifically in the field of painting, you must have acquainted yourself with the creations of the live drip painting artist Mark Rios, popularly known as Mr. Dripping. Yes! the exact person who is famous for drawing portraits of actors like The Pursuit of Happyness actor, Tom Cruise, and many more.

And guess what? Mr. Dripping (real name, Mark Rios) is now getting a documentary of his own. After attaining fame by live painting such A-listers, which also includes Shaquille O’Neil, Benicio del Toro, Antonio Banderas and Neymar Jr, the Spanish-born artist has now made it to the big screen himself. According to Deadline, the series is helmed by Mariano Schoendorff Ares who will escort the artist around the world as he undertakes the job of painting and talking to a plethora of stars.

Notably, the director took his inspiration from pre-existing reality shows such as My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman and Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee and will use the stage, the artist’s unique talent, to broadcast the interviews with the stars. Furthermore, while we do not have the exact lineup of the stars who will appear in the show; It is certainly going to be a treat for people who are into both arts and fine arts.

Producer Uri Singer praised the Will Smith live drip painting artist, Mark Rios
While talking about the artist who got influenced by the likes of Max Ernst and Jackson Pollock, Uri Singer said that he has “followed his journey and this is just a beginning for him.” Furthermore, the producer also acknowledged that this is a great opportunity for him to “connect art and film.” Singer also calls Rios an extraordinary and proficient artist, saying that ” his live portraits are truly incredible to witness.”

Rios’s credits are also not limited to just painting live portraits of these stars within the blink of an eye. But there is more. Global events like Football World Cups, Formula One Races, and even Spanish award shows like Premios Platino have also featured Mr. Dripping’s live painting.
