“The Sweetest Most Talented Person”- Noah Centineo Gushes Over Close Friend Rachel Zegler

Noah Centineo has nothing but praise for his close friend Rachel Zegler. Now, Hollywood is full of surprising and unexpected friendships between celebrities who share a close connection, even if they are not often spotted together. One friend duo that not many people know about is Centineo and Zegler.

The actors have never had the chance to work together on a project or share the screen, and they are rarely spotted together. However, both have become close friends and support each other. Most recently, the Gundam actor praised Zegler and how talented she is.

Noah Centineo praised Rachel Zegler

Noah Centineo recently appeared on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast to discuss his upcoming film, Union County. During the conversation, Horowitz shared that his friend Rachel Zegler had sent her greetings. When asked about their bond, Centineo acknowledged that they are good friends and praised Zegler’s work.

"She's the sweetest most talented person that I really know," he said. 

"She really is one of the most talented artists on the planet. Not just her emotional capacity, but like her vocal strength and capacity, her acting ability, like the fact that she can dance."

But what is most intriguing is how the two actors met, especially since they have never worked together on a project. During the podcast, Centineo shared that he met Zegler while he was filming Black Adam in Atlanta and Zegler was filming Shazam!. He recalled meeting her at Zachary Levi’s house, where they quickly became good friends.

"We just like got along. What is the expression? Like a house on fire. And she just became precious to me," he said.

Not only some kind words for his close friend Zegler, but he also shared some words of support for his Gundam co-star Sydney Sweeney.

Noah Centineo talked about his previous films, roles he could have played, and much more during his appearance on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast. While speaking of his Gundam co-star Sydney Sweeney, the actor revealed that he had known her before they worked together and that they even shared the same friend group. He also addressed the backlash surrounding Sweeney and came to the actress’s defense.

“She’s lovely…I think people love to hate on her on the internet. I can say this, having done a film and spent months and months and months of my life with her now: they have no idea who she is. She’s great," he said.

He further revealed that they grew up auditioning together and had known each other long before they became the stars they are today. He also praised the actress for her impressive run with films in Hollywood. Centineo is not just a talented actor but also a supportive friend who is always quick to praise his friends.
