‘The Office’ Ladies Bring Dunder Mifflin Nostalgia to Actor Awards 2026

The Actor Awards are back with an epic reunion this year. Last year, Gossip Girl stars Kristen Bell and Leighton Meester came together for a reunion, while the cast of The Good Place, Kristen Bell, Ted Danson, and Jackie Tohn, were seen sharing a heartwarming moment. And over the years, there have been several others.
As the event formerly known as the SAG Awards embraces its rebranded identity, this year, the ceremony presented yet another iconic reunion with The Office ladies. The former co-stars came together on stage to recreate the nostalgia during their special presentation.

The Office stars Mindy Kaling, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, and Ellie Kemper came together on stage at the Actors Award to present the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series to The Studio. But before the announcement, the former co-stars took a moment to reflect on their time on the beloved sitcom. It was a sweet reminder of an era when television shows typically ran for 22-episode seasons.
“So, we are women who have survived 22-episode seasons,” Kaling recalled.
“There were no short orders,” Kinsey added.
How I Met Your Mother, Parks and Recreation, and Friends followed the same tradition. While The Office, starring Steve Carell and developed by Greg Daniels, bid goodbye after nine seasons, almost 12 years ago, the nostalgia surrounding the show has never quite faded. Kinsey and Fischer’s podcast Office Ladies is one such show that continues the link.
In interviews, the cast often talks about the show as well as the characters they played, Dunder Mifflin, and how the series continues to be loved by a new generation of viewers. The most recent reunion took place last year, when the cast came together for the premiere of The Paper.
The Office’s nostalgic reunion from The Paper premiere
The Paper, as many know, exists in the same universe as The Office. As showrunner Greg Daniels explained, the new series begins with the happenings at Dunder Mifflin before shifting its focus to a new city. So, it was not surprising to see the The Office cast appear at The Paper premiere.

In a post shared by Peacock, Ellie Kemper, Kate Flannery, Oscar Nunez, Creed Bratton, and Paul Lieberstein were spotted together in a photo booth snapshot. Apart from the premiere reunion, the series also features a familiar face from the original show. Nunez reprised his role as Oscar Martinez in The Paper.
So, moments like this show that the sitcom may have ended, but the connection remains difficult to cut, and events like the Actor Awards continue to remind fans of that legacy by making these reunions happen.
