Hogwarts Legacy 2 is already one of the most eagerly awaited titles in the Wizarding World series, and fans have been awaiting further updates on the development of the open-world role-playing game. Expectations for the sequel are quite high due to the enormous success of the first Hogwarts Legacy, which went on to become one of the best-selling games of 2023. Fortunately, a new Wizarding Globe role-playing game is on the horizon, and this one will take fans back to Hogwarts in a totally different way.

The new tabletop role-playing game Harry Potter: Defenders of Hogwarts will soon be available on Kickstarter. The graphic design firm, MinaLima, which is behind some of the most recognizable Wizarding World items from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movies, such as the Hogwarts acceptance letter, the Marauder's Map, and The Daily Prophet, is working on the game.

The new RPG comes with an exciting new adventure for the Wizarding fans. Players must decide whether to join the Dark Forces to aid Lord Voldemort's victory or represent their house and defend Hogwarts in the game, which takes place right before Voldemort invades the school. Therefore, taking the shape of the find the imposter trope. The game allows one to determine which of their buddies are actually disguised Death Eaters. 

According to the official description, Hogwarts has been infiltrated by Death Eaters and Dark Forces, leaving players to prepare for the battle ahead by sharpening their spell-casting talents, exploring the school grounds, and getting ready for a clash between good and evil. The game is meant for ages 13 and above, and it may accommodate two to five players. Each match is anticipated to last up to ninety minutes.

With 40 million copies sold and a total revenue of $1 billion, it became one of the best-selling video games.
