The Miniature Wife, a Sony Pictures Television series, follows the lives of a couple, Lindy and Les, who are already struggling in their marriage when they face an unexpected crisis. The chaos begins when Les accidentally shrinks his wife, Lindy, to six inches tall. And the trailer shows Elizabeth Banks, who plays Lindy, dealing with her tiny new world in a dollhouse while pressuring her husband to return her to her original size.
Meanwhile, Matthew Macfadyen, who was recently announced as part of Séance on a Wet Afternoon, plays the role of Les, who desperately tries to fix his mistake. Sian Clifford appears as Lindy’s friend and work partner in the series. The three are joined by Zoe Lister-Jones, Sofia Rosinsky, Aasif Mandvi, Tricia Black, Ronny Chieng, and Rong Fu.
As bizarre as Les and Lindy’s story sounds, it is also quite exciting and relatable, and that is something the cast cannot stop talking about. Both Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen have spoken fondly about the new project.

It’s a ridiculous thing, but also immediately intriguing. But it’s also about a relationship,” Macfadyen told Variety at Mipcom. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Banks, who plays Lindy, has also opened up about what drew her to the series. She described the concept as refreshing, bold, and genuinely intriguing enough to convince her to hop on it.
