The Boys will now be slowly drawing the curtains in on its main story with season 5. The fate of the world will be decided in the battle between Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and Homelander (Antony Starr), a final faceoff that has been in the making for a while now. Whoever wins will get to decide if supes live and continue to rule humanity, or they die altogether. The story may end with a decisive battle between both characters, but people’s questions regarding the show might not. 

One of those questions is regarding the salaries of The Boys’ actors and what they got paid for their roles in the series.

  The acting salaries depend on a number of factors. Those factors can be the nature and importance of their role in the story, their acting experience, and compensation negotiations. Depending on all these key contributors, the salaries for each actor on the show can be very different or somewhat similar. The Boys' pivotal cast members reportedly make between $200,000 and $500,000 per episode, which puts them in the same league with stars in popular streaming series like Stranger Things.

But these are just reports and not the official figures from the shows or the actors, as they usually prefer to keep this information private for a number of reasons. Therefore, it cannot be considered as verified data on their paycheck from the show.

However, a report by Legit reveals that Karl Urban got paid approximately $350,000-$500,000 per season, whereas Antony Starr received $440,000 per season, as did Jack Quaid. Erin Moriarty was paid $360,000 while Laz Alonso and Jessie T. Usher got $320,000 each per season.

These numbers are not very different from each other, but still have slight deviations from each other, with Karl Urban being the highest paid among the lot.   

 With a net worth of $20 million, per Celebrity Net Worth, Karl Urban  - also known as Billy Butcher, who will be in his most lethal form this season - tops the list. He edges past every other member of The Boys cast simply because his character is key to the narrative.. He is the main force standing against the antagonist of the show, Homelander. 

But with that logic, Antony Starr should be paid as much as Urban because his role, too, is central to the story. Here, the experience and popularity factor come in. Urban, throughout his career, has featured in projects like The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Star Trek movies, Jason Bourne, Thor: Ragnarok, and many more famous IPs. Hence, the slightly bigger paycheck. Still, it should again be emphasized that these numbers come from a single report that is not official, to be fair.
