Arnold Schwarzenegger has been a churning wheel of blockbuster successes for a while. But failure is inevetible even for the Hollywood king.

The Arnold Schwarzenegger Flop That He Approves as Punishment for Out of Line Children

Arnold Schwarzenegger [https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/arnold-schwarzenegger]
has emerged as one of the greatest Hollywood stars of today’s date. There are
only a few who meet the standard of global stardom that the Austrian Oak managed
to achieve with just a few movies under his name. His raging success, however,
did not rise from the grounds of nuanced, artistically unique movies. His forte
for numerous decades was the obvious sculpted body he had acquired through years
of bodybuilding and a penchant for delivering iconic dialogues.

From Hercules in New York to Conan the Barbarian and many more, the actor made a
fortune based on this formula. However, even the most catchy dialogues and
glazing biceps need at least a mediocre storyline to work with. A bare minimum
that his 1985 film, Red Sonja, failed to deliver. A movie that the Austrian Oak
himself deems appropriate only for punishing children.

Red Sonja crashed at the box office so loudly that even the weakest of
calculators could see its jarring failure. A $6.9 million box office collection
against a $17.9 million budget was unheard of in Schwarzenegger’s filmography.
Therefore, Schwarzenegger did not mince his words to Far Out Magazine
[https://faroutmagazine.co.uk/the-worst-film-arnold-schwarzenegger-ever-made/]
when he prescribed “Red Sonja ten times,” for out-of-line kids. Now, the
Austrian Oak is no doctor, but he has five kids of his own, and they have turned
out to be great adults, perhaps owing to this perfect punishment.

While the actor joked about the film being terrible enough to qualify as a
punishment, the movie has emerged as a cult classic. As is the case with most
films that flopped at the box office upon release. But if that is the case, then
Arnold Schwarzenegger will be no box office failure.

DOES ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER NOT HAVE A SINGLE FLOP?

The Austrian Oak made quite a leap to success soon after his debut. He reflects
on how this was a result of him not being desperate for any movie role

He was calculative in his choices and this granted him a phenomenal career. It
was with Conan the Barbarian that he hit the ball out of the park.

This set a chain reaction for most Arnold Schwarzenegger movies to become box
office successes. Even the movies that did not do very well at the box office
according to the standard of Schwarzenegger movies were still a hit according to
normal standards. This is why even at 75, the actor has the ability to lead a
Netflix TV show.

Meet Aliza Siddiqui, a Hollywood News reporter at Netflix Junkie. Her love affair with Hollywood began with Anne Hathaway and The Princess Diaries, but it was the thrilling climax of Don’t Look Up that cemented her infatuation with the industry and its filmmaking. Aliza's journey into entertainment reporting began with her time at Otakukart, where she wrote over a thousand articles. Her writing style is cheeky and engaging, as seen in her report "Somewhat Alarmed," where she narrates Jimmy Kimmel's hilarious story of how Jason Bateman tricked him into gecko-sitting. Aliza's ultimate dream is to study and critique films that capture her imagination and the attention of movie-goers worldwide. When she is not busy binge-watching Sacha Baron Cohen movies and The Office, she loves to curl up with a weathered copy of a Khaled Hosseini or Indu Sundaresan book.
