Finally, it came down to the battle between Argentina and Spain. All eyes were glued to the pitch and action, whether or not their favorite team had made it to the championship. It also drew one of the most star-studded crowds in sports history, which is worth taking a look.

Mad Men star Jon Hamm was among the celebrities in attendance at the FIFA World Cup final at MetLife Stadium. The actor had a broad smile on his face as he posed for photos at the event, soaking in the excitement of the championship match. Most recently, Hamm starred in the Apple TV+ crime-comedy series Your Friends & Neighbors.

It is rare to see Queen Bey step into the spotlight for an event when she is not on tour. But even she could not pass up the FIFA World Cup final. Beyoncé attended the championship match alongside her husband, rapper Jay-Z. While Jay-Z was seen sporting a New York Yankees cap, Beyoncé wore an oversized cream jacket.

Timothée Chalamet came out for a sports date night with girlfriend Kylie Jenner at the FIFA World Cup final. The couple was spotted in the stands sharing a kiss as they watched the championship match together. While Jenner wore an all-black outfit, pairing a black top with matching pants, Chalamet paired his blue shirt with black pants.

The two were seen enjoying sports night date at the New York Knicks games. 

Tom Cruise is gearing up for a hectic year ahead, with his upcoming film Digger set to hit theaters this October. But before returning to the big screen, the Hollywood icon took time out for the FIFA World Cup final at MetLife Stadium. Cruise was all smiles as he posed for photos with fans. 

The FIFA World Cup final also saw football legend Tom Brady in attendance. The former NFL quarterback was spotted soaking in the electric energy while enjoying a father-son moment with his son, Jack. The two were seen posing for a selfie during the tournament. 

Gayle King was joined by Nina Cooper, who also wore an all-white outfit for the event. Elise Smith and William Bumpus Jr. were also spotted posing for photos as they joined the star-studded crowd at the FIFA World Cup final.

It is no secret that Carlos Alcaraz, who is currently recovering from a wrist injury, is a huge soccer fan. So it was not a surprise that he attended the FIFA World Cup final. But the tennis star was not there just to watch the championship match.

Alcaraz joined South Korean actress and model Hoyeon to present the Louis Vuitton trophy trunk carrying the FIFA World Cup Winner's Trophy, and he was even seen carrying it onto the pitch. 

While promoting a film may be important, so is the World Cup final between Argentina and Spain. Matt Damon, who has been a constant presence on screens and in news headlines while promoting The Odyssey, took a break from the press tour to catch the championship match.

He was joined by his wife, Luciana Damon.

NBA star Jalen Brunson brought a little championship charm to the 2026 FIFA World Cup final. Fresh off leading the New York Knicks to an NBA title, the newly crowned champion attended the match alongside his wife, Ali Brunson. The couple smiled as they posed for photos at the event.

Even basketball star James Harden could not resist coming all the way to New York to witness the historic game. He is a free agent who most recently played for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Harden was in attendance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final.

Tyrese Haliburton is a 2x NBA All-Star and the point guard for the Indiana Pacers. His fiancée, Jade Jones, also joined him for the FIFA World Cup. She was a former cheerleader for Iowa State University.

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union turned heads at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final. The former NBA star paired his grey T-shirt with light blue pants, while the actress rocked a stylish all-denim outfit as the two posed for photos at the event. The two are often spotted at sports nights dates together. 

Legendary skier Lindsey Vonn, was also in attendance at the FIFA World Cup final. She made a fashion statement in a bright red top paired with colorful, floral-print pants as she posed for photos at the event. Vonn was most recently in the headlines following her appearance at the 2026 Winter Olympics. 

Figure skater Ilia Malinin was also spotted at the FIFA World Cup final, posing for photos before the match. The 21-year-old revealed to USA Today that it was the first soccer game he had ever attended in person. It is safe to say he picked the perfect match.

Winnie Harlow also attended the FIFA World Cup final, posing for photos in a white outfit with gold detailing. She is a renowned fashion model and beauty entrepreneur, and unsurprisingly brought her A-game in fashion to one of the biggest sports events of the year.

Four-time NBA champion Draymond Green was also in attendance at the FIFA World Cup final. While it was not clear which team the Golden State Warriors star was rooting for, his son made his stance clear. The young boy, who joined Green for the event, proudly sported a Spain jersey.

Kevin Hart is having quite an amazing week. The comedian attended the FIFA World Cup final at MetLife Stadium alongside his wife, Eniko Hart, to witness one of the biggest soccer matches. Just days earlier, Hart had the chance to meet Lionel Messi at Fanatics Fest in Midtown Manhattan on July 17, 2026. 

It was not just former NFL stars who turned up for the FIFA World Cup final. New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart was also in attendance at MetLife Stadium. Before gearing up for the upcoming NFL season, the player basked in the energy early in the Soccer game. 

Much like Tom Brady, Odell Beckham Jr. was also seen enjoying some father-son time at the FIFA World Cup final. The NFL star attended the championship match with his son, Zydn.

Julia Garner may have a packed schedule, but the Emmy-winning actress still made time for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final. The Weapons actress was among the celebrities spotted at MetLife Stadium, taking a break from her busy filming schedule. Garner is set to star in Netflix's The Altruists and Apple TV+'s Guilty Creatures. 

The power couple, Rob Gronkowski and Camille Kostek, were also spotted at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final. The former NFL star paired his white T-shirt and gray pants, while Kostek wore a simple look, pairing a white shirt with light blue denim jeans. The couple happily posed for photos before joining the star-studded crowd for the championship match.
