Her role as Cassie had many different shades over the show’s two seasons, which she absolutely nailed. Not just her character, but the show itself, won millions of hearts. Last year, it won the award for the best show at the MTV Video Music Awards, and Sweeney received it.

When she went on stage to accept the award, nobody knew that they were going to witness one of the best speeches of all time. As she received the award and approached the mic, initially she cheered along with the audience, which was extremely happy. The actress thanked the audience for their love and support on behalf of the whole cast and crew of Euphoria. She also thanked the creator, Sam Levinson, and HBO.
