Seth Rogen appears to be worried about the idea of dying with too much money sitting in his bank account. Whether someone is a celebrity or not, the drive to succeed and earn more is often the same. After landing one lucrative gig, the focus quickly shifts to securing the next opportunity, leaving little time to enjoy the rewards of hard work.
However, it seems the actor and comedian has been thinking about a different side of financial success. Rogen once shared why dying with millions of dollars in his bank account makes him uneasy, for a reason that is both unusual and surprisingly relatable.

During his appearance on Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, Seth Rogen opened up about his fear of dying with $10 million still sitting in his bank account. The actor explained that he worries about not spending the money on himself while he has the chance. He added that he does not want to reach the end of his life with regrets about missing out on the things he enjoys.
“I don’t have children, and I’m afraid I’m going to die and be like, I could have had a place at the beach,” he joked about it.
He further added, “I don’t want to die with like $10,000,000 in the bank that I could have spent doing fun, alive things.”

Although Rogen and his wife, Lauren Miller Rogen, do not have children, they have built a lovely life together.
The actor also had plenty of praise for his wife during their appearance at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival.
