‘Ted Lasso’ Season 4 Cast: Every Actor Confirmed and Returning for the Dramedy

After the finale of season 3 in 2023, Apple TV’s Ted Lasso kept the fans of the show waiting for the next season for almost three years. But finally, the wait is going to be over soon, as the official announcement of the new season came from Apple TV on April 28, 2026. The streamer actually ordered the fourth season in March 2025, and said in January that the show will be slated for a summer release. The show that first aired in August 2020 was an instant hit, becoming a cultural phenomenon, and is now returning for a fourth season.

Apple TV has released a teaser and a first look image, along with the premiere date and the most important cast details.

Who will be returning and new recruits for Ted Lasso season 4?

The fourth season of the comedy drama, Ted Lasso, which features Jason Sudeikis as the eponymous character, will take viewers back to London to see Lasso's upcoming challenge coaching AFC Richmond's women's team. The new season will debut on August 5, according to an announcement made by Apple TV on Tuesday. Along with the announcement, a teaser was also launched confirming all the returning and new cast members.

Liza Katzer and Jeff Ingold of Doozer are executive producers as well. Taking inspiration from a character from an NBC Sports sketch, Sudeikis, Lawrence, Hunt, and executive producer Joe Kelly created the sitcom.

During its first two seasons, Ted Lasso earned 13 Emmys, including Outstanding Comedy Series. The show constantly ranks among the top popular Apple TV series, even during its brief break after season 3. Therefore, the return of the show for a fourth season was a no-brainer for the streamer.
