In a cover interview with Allure, Melissa Hernandez recalled the time when she first met Sydney Sweeney five years ago. The makeup artist who has been working with famous faces in the industry for years met her for a trial look. “It was basically headshots. They just needed photos because she was going to have press coming out,” she told Allure.

Ultimately, after that meeting, the American actress became her permanent client and is doing all her Met Gala and Red Carpet looks. If anyone follows the Los Angeles-based specialist, they might have seen several pictures of Sweeney. Last month, she prepped her fresh-faced look for the Reality press conference.
