Sydney Sweeney’s Grandmother’s Hilarious Reaction to Her Met Gala Debut in 2022 Will Leave You Laughing on the Floor

while ago, but she got a big chunk of her fame last year. That was after the
release of the second season of Euphoria and the double Emmy Nomination the
25-year-old received. Last year was special for the actress because she also got
invited to her first Met Gala.

When Vogue shot her on the day of the Gala, a series of hilarious things
happened when the actress called her Nana. After she got ready and stepped in
the van to reach the Metropolitan Museum of Art, she called her grandmother to
give her a sneak peek. And the first thing she told her was that she was heading
to the Met. Hilariously, her small-town grandmother’s first question was, “What
is that?”

This left both Sweeney and her stylist, Molly Dickson,

grandma came out as a simple lady with her first question, you should not
mistake her for one. Because her next response to The White Lotus actress was
hilarious.

SYDNEY SWEENEY DID NOT KNOW WHAT MET GALA WAS

Born and brought up in the small town of Spokane, the actress was not familiar
with many international festivities. Surprisingly, Met Gala was one of them. She
admitted in her Vogue video that she had so idea whatsoever what Met Gala was
until she began acting.

When Sweeney was showing her dress to her nana, she forgot the fact that she was
a little conservative. The actress wore a gorgeous white strapless gown to her
first Met Gala. When she video-called her nana, she told her that she will send
her the pictures of the whole outfit later as it was a “bit too tight in the
van.” In response her nana said, “It’s a bit tight on the top too.”



Sydney Sweeney’s first Met Gala was a huge success and the small-town girl was
able to capture everybody’s attention with her glam.
