Over a year after first sparking intense media scrutiny when they crossed paths among the high-profile guest list at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s lavish Italian wedding, the couple has returned to the very locale, Venice, launching another few thousand rumors. Trading the cautious discretion of their early romance for an undeniable display of public affection, the pair’s latest trip marks a full-circle moment.

The highlight of this getaway was the PDA the world got to see from the couple on the Italian waters.

While on a romantic gondola ride around Venice's canals, attending the 2026 Venice Film Festival together, Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun shared a sweet kiss. Images showed Sweeney putting her hands on Braun's cheeks and bending over to give him a kiss. Later, the two were seen holding hands as they strolled through the city.

For the outing, Braun wore a white button-down shirt with blue shorts, sunglasses, and a baseball cap-rally style, while Sweeney wore a white dress with a yellow cardigan thrown over her shoulders. 

Given the significance of Venice at the beginning of the relationship, this most recent journey seems to have special symbolic meaning. They have returned to the same spot more than a year later, and their far more overt displays of affection are perhaps the final seal to the deal.

Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun have one of those love stories that blossomed through caution and now flaunt the fruits in public. 

Since those initial rumors appeared, the couple's connection has gradually gained more attention. In April, Sydney Sweeney took Scooter Braun on a date to the third season premiere of Euphoria. Later, she shared a picture of the two of them from the premiere on her Instagram Stories, further solidifying their relationship.

The two have even continued to share tidbits of their relationship on a variety of occasions, such as their vacation to Australia and the Stagecoach Music Festival. Another indication that the relationship has continued to grow over the months since it started is that Sweeney has apparently spent time with Braun's kids.
