Surprising Deleted Scene From ‘Sinners’ Surfaces More Than a Month After Theatrical Release

When the two powerhouses Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan joined forces outside of Marvel, all knew that magic would happen. Their reputation preceded them as the actor-director duo in the company of a very talented ensemble cast went on to deliver one of the biggest hits of 2025 with an original story. Not only did they manage to stick the landing after the initial hype, but they were also voted as the top choice for Oscars by fans and critics alike. Now, it turns out that the latest mind-bending horror epic has a little more to offer.
More than a month after the slated theatrical release, Sinners has brought a special deleted scene for the fans.

The tale of twin brothers Smoke and Stack from the 1930s in Mississippi, where vampires ravaged the population at night, is now officially available to stream on Fandango since June 3. From this release, Fandango shared a deleted scene in which the twins return to their hometown of Mississippi and are ready to work on their new Juke Joint business. The scene is shorter than 3 minutes and does not have much dialogue interaction between the characters, basically laying the foundation for future scenes.
The digital and Blu-ray version is a wealth of many behind-the-scenes secrets, hidden scenes, and exclusive featurettes, which till now are not been found in theaters. Moreover, Sinners is also a gift that keeps on giving, as in stores in the 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD releasing on July 8, including a limited edition Steelbook available for pre-order now. Sinners, which was released on April 18, has been brought on demand after a wait of more than a month of working its charm on the box office.
During a time when top studios like Marvel found it hard to gain commercial success with critics, Sinners has flown off the charts.
Sinners' mind blowing commercial and critical success
Critically, Sinners has earned a 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which is not an easy feat for any movie. From top critics, it has bagged impressive reviews all around. While Rolling Stone called it "swinging wide and far beyond the boundaries of franchise fare," ABC Network called it the actor and director’s "best and most daring work yet." By June, Sinners has managed to gross a mind-blowing revenue of $350 million with an international release.

Exclusively made for IMAX screens, it had reached $30.6 million, contributing 19% to the movie's overall earnings and emerging as the eighth-highest-grossing film of 2025. The movie also proudly boasts of contributions from the legendary filmmaker Christopher Nolan in making it a historical success. And the latest deleted scene, which conveys a lot without much dialogue, speaks volumes about Ryan Coogler’s brilliant direction.
