With Street Fighter edging closer to its October 16 release, anticipation is building around the reunion of estranged fighters Ryu and Ken Masters. With the movie remaining faithful with the moves, audiences can remain hopeful for the backdrops to remain true as well.

Filming locations and moves aside, the movie has left no shortage for talent with a star studded ensemble cast.

Street Fighter brings together a large ensemble cast led by Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken Masters, and Callina Liang as Chun-Li, with David Dastmalchian playing the villain M. Bison. Jason Momoa stars as Blanka, while WWE's Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes play Akuma and Guile, respectively. The posters and trailers are evidence to the actors' efforts to morph into warriors from 1993.

The cast also features Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson, who takes on Balrog, Orville Peck as Vega, Andrew Schulz appears as Dan Hibiki, and Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim. Furthermore, the crew of Street Fighter balances the talent quotient with Kitao Sakurai directing the movie and the screenplay being delivered by Dalan Musson and Gary Dauberman, and T.J. Fixman.
