Dive into the amusing mix-up as Stranger Things star David Harbour shares his experience of being mistaken for an actor from The Newsroom.

‘Stranger Things’ Beloved David Harbour Recounts How He Was Mistaken for This ‘The Newsroom’ Actor

In Hollywood, a treasure trove of breathtaking faces never fails to seize our
admiration for their sheer beauty. Familiar faces with uncanny resemblances are
a stroke of luck. Margot Robbie, the living Barbie bears a fascinating
similarity to her co-star Emma Mackey. Even the ever-famous Daniel Radcliffe has
had his moments of perplexing similarity with Elijah Wood. And let’s not forget
David Harbour, who stands among those sparking double takes with his own
striking resemblance.

Reflecting on a memorable incident, the Stranger Things
[https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/stranger-things/] star fondly recalls a time when
they were mistaken for none other than The Newsroom actor.

DAVID HARBOUR AND THE NEWSROOM ACTOR’S BRUSH OF RESEMBLANCE

In the realm where the names of royalty and singers intertwine with visual
similarity, Harbour finds himself no exception. Even Millie Bobby Brown
[https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/millie-bobby-brown/] has drawn comparisons to
both Winona Ryder and Natalie Portman. In a candid exchange with Josh Horowitz
during an interview, when asked about mistaken identities, the Gran Turismo
actor humorously revealed his own brush with it. Recounting a visit to Best Buy,
a fan enthusiastically approached him, confessing their love for The Newsroom.

In a funny twist, Harbour shared on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, “I was like
thank you yeah and they thought I was Jeff Daniels”. Furthermore, reflecting on
this amusing incident from five years ago, the Black Widow star thought that he
reminded the fan of Jeff Davis. Unapologetically, he nearly sent a text to
Davis. With a chuckle, Harbour shared the encounter with Davis, informing him
that someone had mistaken him for the same. Davis’ response, a simple apology,
only added to the hilarity of the string of mix-ups.

However, this is not the sole occurrence that has elevated celebrity
resemblances to an extraordinary level.

THE EXTRAORDINARY PHENOMENON OF CELEBRITY RESEMBLANCES

Being a red-haired Brit automatically sets you up for an Ed Sheeran comparison.
Such is his widespread fame. But the tale takes a whimsical twist: a Barbie
actress made even Prince Harry fall victim to being mistaken for Ed Sheeran

In another intriguing twist of fate, the heartthrobs Henry Cavill
[https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/henry-cavill/] and Matt Bomer bear such a
striking resemblance that Bomer was initially in the running for the role of the
Man of Steel, until Cavill stepped in to claim the iconic mantle.

The mix-up between Kim Kardashian
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/kim-kardashian/] and Eva Longoria is
consistently amusing. In 2013, Bret Michaels hilariously shared a photo mix-up,
tweeting a birthday message meant for Longoria alongside a picture of the SKIMS
owner. In addition to this, even fellow comedians Kevin Hart and Chris Rock find
themselves in a merry mix-up. So much so that their resemblances often lead to
humorous confusion.
