From Heated Rivalry and Off Campus to Reacher, the streamer continues to expand its lineup with shows that pull in viewers. Now, it is set to add yet another highly anticipated title, Sterling Point.

The coming-of-age drama brings together a talented cast of familiar and new faces for a heartfelt story filled with family secrets, romance, and much more. With its premiere just days away, here is everything you need to know about Sterling Point, including its cast, plot, release date, and more.

The Amazon Prime show, Sterling Point, follows 17-year-old Annie, who has spent her life in New York City with her twin brother and their seemingly loving adoptive father. However, her world is turned upside down when she inherits her mysterious grandfather's island in Canada. As Annie settles into her new life, she finds new friendships, unexpected connections, and long-buried family secrets.

Much like the plot, the show also brought together a notable cast.

Ella Rubin as Annie Jacobson: Ella Rubin began her acting career as a child actress, making her film debut in The Rewrite. She later starred in the Netflix series The Chair and the Hulu limited series The Girl from Plainville.

Amélie Hoeferle as Ramona: Amélie Hoeferle is a German actress. She is best known for her roles in Night Swim, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, and Eddington.

Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie as Ellis: Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie has previously appeared in Bootlegger and Billie Blue. He also received a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the film A Colony. 

Keen Ruffalo as Connor: Keen Ruffalo is the eldest child and only son of Mark Ruffalo and Sunrise Coigney. He previously made cameo appearances in his father's films Begin Again and Thor: Ragnarok. Now, he is set to take on a larger role in Sterling Point.

Bo Bragason as Oona: Bo Bragason is an English actress who is well known for her roles in BBC dramas Three Girls and The Jetty, as well as the Disney+ series Renegade Nell. She also appeared in the 2024 film The Radleys. Bragason is set to take on one of her biggest roles yet, starring as Princess Zelda in the upcoming live-action The Legend of Zelda.

Fortunately, fans will not have to wait much longer to see this cast in action. 

After Sterling Point's official announcement in October 2025, the show wrapped its production by May 2026. The first season is set to premiere on August 5, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video. It will have eight episodes. And as of now, there is no information on the second season of the show. Whether a coming-of-age drama or a mystery thriller, Sterling Point is one of August's biggest streaming premieres. And it could get added to the long list of Amazon Prime hits of this year.
