This massive number means that the latest Spider-Man flick has now surpassed Avengers: Endgame to clinch the biggest box office preview number of all time title.

Yesterday night, Deadline reported the Brand New Day previews collection to be more than $50M, but did not reveal a clear number. The ballpark number got Brand New Day the third spot in the list, only behind Avengers: Endgame's $60M (6 PM start time) and 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens' $57M Thursday night.

Now, the post by DiscussingFilm has made things clearer for the movie’s standing on the list, which has shot up to the first spot since then. Given the $80 million in advance ticket sales for Tom Holland and Zendaya's $225 million net production, the massive preview numbers do make sense.

Out of the nine live-action Spider-Man films, Spider-Man: Brand New Day currently holds the highest Rotten Tomatoes audience score (98%). At 90% certified fresh, which is slightly below No Way Home's 93%, the critical score is impressive. If the movie keeps up with this pace, it might reach the box office milestone of No Way Home, which rests at $800 million domestically and nearly $2 billion worldwide.
