The 25-year-old said that her character is very much influenced by her mother in
the show. Her mother, Nicole, is the provider for the family and also a very
strong businesswoman. Olivia has seen her mother be strong her whole life, and
hence she wants to be like that.

At the same time, she does not want her mother’s whole life; hence, she acts out
against her perfection. She also likes to have control over her friend Paula and
gets angry when Paula does not act like Olivia wants her to.
