British actor continued his journey as Superman in Zack Snyder’s Justice League,
too. However, after going through quite a journey in his professional career,
the English star recently faced a backlash for his style in his upcoming film,
Argylle.

While fans are not thrilled with his hairstyle in the upcoming Guy Ritchie film,
the actor had already set the internet on fire when his mustache controversy
arose in 2017.


6 YEARS BEFORE ARGYLLE, HENRY CAVILL FACED A SIMILAR SITUATION

Henry Cavill is, without a doubt, one of the most attractive actors in
Hollywood. However, as soon as the trailer of his upcoming film, Argylle hit the
screens, fans had negative reactions to his hairstyle. Well, when he starred in
the DC movie Justice League in 2017, he faced a similar situation about his
mustache. Apparently, when he was re-shooting the DC film, he had grown a
mustache for his Mission Impossible feature. But Snyder’s Superman did not have
a mustache.

Therefore, fans came together on the internet to reimagine Superman with a
mustache. They edited pictures of the Enola Holmes actor in the Superman costume
having a mustache. The reason Justice League‘s Clark Kent did not have a
mustache was that the studio removed it with the help of CGI. However, the actor
was not in favor of removing it.

for his character in the film. However, because it was a barrier in the DC
