One of the hottest Hollywood rumors to come out of 2012 was that Shia LaBeouf had knocked out Tom Hardy. As it turns out, the story is partially true. For those who are not aware, the two were rumored to have a beef while filming the 2012 crime drama Lawless.
Director John Hillcoat confirmed that tensions between the actors were real, revealing that they even had to be pulled apart during one confrontation. But the rumor mill also claimed that LaBeouf had knocked Hardy out. As the actor opened up about the incident, there is clearly more to the rumor.

Shia LaBeouf recently appeared on Hot Ones with host Sean Evans, where he was asked about his infamous beef with Tom Hardy. He admitted that the altercation did happen. However, he clarified that there was no real animosity or bad blood between the two.
“Yeah, it’s a bunch of bulls***,” LaBeouf said. “We used to wrestle all the time and [Tom Hardy’s] a big f****** person, especially then. He was getting ready [to play] Bane,” he said, as per Co
At the time, Hardy was bulking up to play Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. And as LaBeouf described it, the incident was more of a friendly scuffle than a real fight. It happened after Hardy barged into his room following a gym session. And as per LaBeouf, the two were fighting at the top of a staircase when Hardy stepped too far and tumbled down the stairs.
"For the rest of the shoot, he told everybody I knocked him out,” LaBeouf said.
Fortunately, one of the biggest mysteries surrounding the rumored beef between the two actors has finally been cleared up. Meanwhile, another issue involving Hardy's hit series MobLand has also seen a positive development.

Tom Hardy, who stars in the hit series MobLand, was previously rumored to have clashed with showrunner Jez Butterworth. The reported issues allegedly stemmed from late script deliveries, limited on-set presence, and other production-related concerns during the filming of Season 2. While rumors suggested Hardy might leave the franchise, there is some good news for fans.

As per Deadline, he is expected to return. Although MobLand has yet to receive an official Season 3 renewal, discussions about the next installment are reportedly underway, and Hardy is said to be part of those plans. As for now, there is no update on the release date for the show.
