Katherine LaNasa is winning hearts as Dana Evans in The Pitt Seasons 1 and 2. Her powerful performance as a sharp-witted ER lead nurse at a fictional Pittsburgh trauma center has impressed the fans. Now, while this may be one of her big breaks and steady roles of her career, LaNasa has shown strong performances in many previous shows as well.

Even if some of those characters had short runs or did not get the attention they deserved, LaNasa’s performance remained notable. She has been part of several notable series over the years, and those are worth a watch this year.

A reboot of the iconic 1980s soap opera, Dynasty, dives into the drama-filled world of businesswoman Fallon Carrington and her powerful family. The story follows Fallon as she does not want her billionaire father, Blake, to marry Cristal, who is an employee at the family company. Katherine LaNasa, who plays Ada Stone, takes on a completely different role in this version in the second season.

Showcasing her versatility, she brilliantly portrays a negative character, making this a must-watch for her fans.

The Campaign

The Campaign is a political comedy that follows Democratic Congressman Cam Brady, who has run unopposed for years until an unexpected event threatens his seat just days before the next election. Chaos ensues when tour guide Marty Huggins decides to run against him. And Katherine LaNasa appears in a supporting role as Cam’s wife, Rose Brady, in the movie.

Though the role is not as big as her role in The Pitt, she showed her brilliant comedic talent and timing.

Jayne Mansfield’s Car

Set in 1969 Morrison, Alabama, Jayne Mansfield’s Car follows the Caldwell and Bedford families, both with World War I and II veterans, clashing over cultural differences. As for Katherine LaNasa, she is brilliant as Donna Baron, who makes an effort to bring the two families together, leading to both emotional clashes and humor.

The dark, comedic chaos in the movie makes it a must-watch. However, it is also quite emotional.

Deception

The series, Deception, follows socialite Vivian Bowers after he is found dead in a motel room from an apparent drug overdose. This leads to her estranged best friend, Detective Joanna Locasto, being drawn back into the wealthy Bowers family as she investigates the case. And in the process, she discovers several secrets and the truth behind her friend’s death.

Katherine LaNasa played the role of Sophia Bowers, who is the second wife and former secretary of a rich man, Robert.

Imposters is a dark comedy drama about a clever con artist who marries her victims, steals their money, and disappears. When three heartbroken spouses realize they were all scammed by the same woman, they team up to track her down. Their pursuit pulls them into a globe-trotting chase filled with crime, identity, and emotional fallout, while the con woman’s past and motivations slowly unravel along the way, testing trust, revenge, and the cost of reinvention for everyone involved, worldwide consequences.

Katherine LaNasa plays Sally Prentiss, Ezra’s sharp, no-nonsense boss, adding dry humor and grounded authority, often cutting through chaos with blunt honesty.

Katy Keene

Katy Keene is a musical comedy-drama television series that follows the lives of four aspiring artists: fashion designer Katy, singer Josie, drag performer Jorge, and entrepreneur Pepper, as they chase their dreams in New York City. The show brilliantly explores their personal and professional struggles, romantic entanglements, and the challenges of breaking into the music industry based on the Archie comics.

In the series, Katherine LaNasa played the role of Gloria Grandbilt, who is a personal shopper at the luxury department store Lacy's. Safe to say, it is a must-watch thanks to its blend of ambition, friendship, and a little bit of drama.

This is yet another brilliant movie starring Katherine LaNasa. This movie, Love is All You Need? follows a world where homosexuality is the norm, and heterosexual students Jude and Ryan struggle to express their love amid hostility and prejudice. Their relationship sparks outrage and many more complications. Ultimately, the two and those around them confront the intolerance. Just like its novel premise, the cast, including LaNasa, showed brilliant performances. She played the role of Vicki Curtis, who is the mother of a teenage girl.

And now, after gaining experience playing these versatile and challenging roles, she is understandably brilliant as Evans. Whether commanding the ER in The Pitt, which is stepping the success ladder each day, or bringing depth to supporting roles, she has shown a powerful and unforgettable performance.
