“My favorite guys. I’ll always be there for them as they have been for me,” she wrote. “Love you Steve and I love you Marty,” she further added. 

This comes after the tragic passing of Martin Short’s daughter, Katherine. For those who are not aware, Katherine was the adopted daughter of Short and his late wife, Nancy Dolman. The trio was also absent from the Actors Awards, where Short was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series.

Short’s family later shared the shocking news with the public. And Gomez, who is one of the biggest supporters of her co-stars, showed her support. The trio has always been supportive of each other. Earlier, both Martin and Short were present at her wedding to Benny Blanco.

And Steve Martin had a wholesome message for the singer on her big day.

Steve Martin, in his interview with Entertainment Tonight, spoke about his thrill to have attended Selena Gomez’s wedding. While Meryl Streep ended up missing the wedding, Martin was present, and he was happy to be there for Gomez’s special day. He further went on to claim Blanco as the lucky guy, but he also praised the producer for his sense of humor. 

"It was a beautiful, beautiful wedding. She married a very lucky guy, but also a very talented and funny guy," he said.

Not only have they been present for each other and offered constant support, but the trio has even begun picking up each other’s habits after working together for five seasons. Gomez once revealed on Hot Ones that she had developed a habit of reading news with them, while Blanco chimed in, noting that even their eating habits appear the same. And now, in a moment of profound loss, Selena Gomez’s touching tribute served as a reminder that behind the laughter of their on-screen partnership lies a real friendship built on unwavering support and care.
