As reported by Variety, the storyline of Seduction follows Paulo, a celebrated actor who receives sudden news regarding the death of his father deep within the Amazon Rainforest. Driven by duty, he embarks on an intense journey to settle his family's unfinished personal affairs. Upon arrival, Paulo confronts the harsh realities facing local communities, including rampant illegal land grabbing and environmental destruction.

Surrounding regional tensions force the protagonist to re-evaluate his urban lifestyle while confronting dangerous local exploitation. As reported by Variety, navigating the dense wilderness along the Tapajós River triggers an unexpected, radical personal transformation within him. “In my opinion it is the best film of Zelito Viana, even better than ‘Villa-Lobos: A Life of Passion,’” Jorge Peregrino told Variety.

“And it is fair to say, and I believe Zelito will agree with me, that Marcos’ direction work brought a freshness to the film.,” he added.
