The Scrubs is coming back, and so is the OG trio and the other related cast members. The lead Zach Braff as Dr. John Dorian or J.D. ernest doctor who is the core character and builds the emotional arc for the series, Donald Faison as Dr. Christopher Turk; best friend and confidant to J.D., and of course the bromance the character brings to play, and Sarah Chalke as Dr. Elliot Reid, love interest to J.D., and a brilliant physician with high ambition.

Along with them, the veteran cast of the series also joins, who play a crucial role in driving certain arcs. Judy Reyes as Nurse Carla Espinosa, John C. McGinley as Dr. Perry Cox, Neil Flynn as The Janitor, and Christa Miller as Jordan Sullivan, the sharp-tongued ex of Dr. Cox.

There are new faces joining the ensemble as well. Rachel Bilson as Charlie, the beautiful visitor, Andy Ridings as Wes, the transplant organ pilot, and Lisa Gilroy as Lily, a harpist adding a touch of calm to the halls.

Scrubs is picking up from where it left off in its finale in the 2000s. As per the last episode, J.D. and Elliot got married, Turk and Dr. Cox were teaching the new med students, while Carla quit the job to be a stay-at-home mom. The long‑awaited Season 10 will bring J.D., Turk, and Elliot back to Sacred Heart Hospital more than 15 years after the original series ended, blending familiar humor with fresh stories as the old friends navigate a changed medical world alongside new faces. 

As the revival reunites beloved cast members while honoring the spirit of the original comedy, when will it release? 

Scrubs will premiere on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, on ABC. The first two episodes will be released back-to-back at 8 pm ET/PT, and the remaining episodes will be out weekly. The revival consists of nine episodes.

After the initial broadcast, episodes will become available to stream the following day on Hulu, where you can watch the previous seasons of the show as well.
