It is possible that Clint Eastwood is still in the entertainment industry. Following rumors that Clint Eastwood was retiring from Hollywood due to a rediscovered video, the Oscar-winning director's son, Scott Eastwood, explained his career status in a recent interview. He discussed whether his father, who turned 96 on May 31, had given up acting and filmmaking in an interview with Screen Rant.

"We'll see. I have not heard that from his mouth at all. So I don't know what that feels like. His career in general has been something to admire, something to be inspired by, and continues to inspire me,” Scott Eastwood said in the interview.

Compared to several directors half his age, the prolific actor turned director has continued to work steadily into his 90s. However, fans started to question when, if at all, Eastwood may really retire when his recent movie, the courtroom drama Juror No. 2, debuted a few months after his 94th birthday in 2024.

The rumors of his retirement began to take wind when a video clip resurfaced last week, where the third oldest of the director's eight children, bassist and film composer Kyle Eastwood, made a casual remark to a French news source, France Info, in November about his father's retirement. However, Scott Eastwood's words to ScreenRant have provided some relief to the fans of the legend.
