Since his strong performance as Tywin Lannister in Game of Thrones, Dance has recently portrayed something similar, along the lines of a strong, stern family patriarch in Guillermo del Toro’s Oscar-nominated Frankenstein. This might also borrow some shades from these portrayals.

With the inclusion of Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, and Charles Dance, the cast looks formidable, making the wait for the movie even harder. There are still some negotiations going on in the background for other important roles in the movie, and the details about those roles will only be revealed in time.
