Ryan Reynolds has been putting his undeniably brilliant wits, charm, and most importantly, talent to bring forth a story worth your while, for quite some time now. While earlier he would only be the star of such moving pieces, Reynolds has also taken the wheel to promote every unique cinematic exposition he takes on as if there is no tomorrow. This is true for his anticipated blockbuster havoc inducer, Deadpool & Wolverine, but also for IF.

Helmed by The Office's favorite John Krasinski, the Reynolds starrer has enticed the audience in a lineup that is currently ruled by The Fall Guy and The Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.

With what is anticipated to be the next biggest thing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the wonderland that is Ryan Reynolds' projects, Deadpool & Wolverine just a few months away, audiences who sat for IF were in for a surprise. The movie, which on paper identified as a fantasy comedy, unraveled to be a moving masterpiece in theaters, earning Reynolds a garage of goodie points.

That IF has managed to win the audience's attention is a feat in itself given the current reign of action thrillers over the box office. However, the movie did not give much choice to viewers as it boasted of almost every loved actor from Bradley Cooper to Emily Blunt as a cast member. It is unclear whether it can be termed a box office hit yet given the May 17th, but it is already a family favorite.

IF, as explained by many of its talented cast and crew, stands for Imaginary Friends. The 'imaginary friends' take the center stage in the movie as a grown man and a little girl find themselves able to see them. This unique story was not only cut to perfection by John Krasinski, who not only directed it, but also wrote the same. Although better known as an actor, Krasinski has been shaking up the director's arena with his talent over the years.

The American actor star has been writing and directing alongside acting for many years, with his most renowned work being A Quiet Place. While the movie did earn him a spot on the Time Magazine, it failed to make audiences recognize just how great of a director he was. However, if IF becomes a blockbuster hit, it might change it all.
