Ryan Reynolds triumphs over A-listers like The Rock, Jackman, and Wahlberg, Earning The Lead In A Billion-Dollar Franchise Role

Multiple updates regarding the third installment of Deadpool are doing the
rounds for a while now. While the movie may have been delayed due to the
SAG-AFTRA strike, Ryan Reynolds [https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/ryan-reynolds/]
has not left his fans stranded in this moment of despair as he gives them a
victory that they will relish for a lifetime.

Reynolds, who is currently the bigshot of Hollywood with a net worth of $350
million, bagged his dream role in a multi-billion franchise. Despite having
tough competition from many other A-listers in the industry, Reynolds bagged the
lead in this upcoming movie.

RYAN REYNOLDS LEADS A BILLION-DOLLAR FRANCHISE

Pokemon is the highest-grossing franchise to date that has a huge fanbase all
over the world. Therefore, when the news about lending a voice to its titular
character came out, many top actors from the industry expressed their interest.
Dwayne Johnson, Hugh Jackman, and Mark Wahlberg are some of the actors who
desired to voice-act in this live-action flick. However, the Free Guy actor
surpassed all of them and made his way into the popular franchise.

Ryan Reynolds is a huge Pokemon fan and was very dedicated to playing this role.
He even forgot to pick his kids up from school

when he heard he got the role. Which is funny considering the reason he was so
adamant to play this role was for them to enjoy one of his movies. Adorable,
isn’t it?

With the esteemed names of Hollywood’s biggest superstars attached to it, fans
wonder what exactly is the billion dollar project about.

WHAT IS DETECTIVE PIKACHU ABOUT?

Detective Pikachu, as one can gauge from his name, is a detective who solves the
mystery of finding Harry Goodman. Pikachu used to work with Harry at a detective
agency, but loses his memory after an accident. This accident also marked the
disappearance of Harry Goodman, who becomes the center of Detective Pikachu’s
storyline.

The video game film brought in a lot of profit, however, it failed to create an
impact among fans. It received a 68% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which is pretty
average for such a big-budget venture. But nothing can take away the fact that
it made Ryan Reynolds a winner for not just his kids but also among his peers.
