After seeing his work for the Welsh Football Club, fans are convinced he is the right fit for this Canadian team. Alas, he isn’t the only Hollywood superstar who has put his cards on the table to strike a deal. This legendary hockey team is currently making people run for their money. And this is clear that the actor will face tough competition along the way since a new name has been added to the bidder list.

Snoop Dogg recently turned to Instagram, expressing his interest in placing a bid on Ottawa Senators. The rapper shared a screenshot of Neko Sparks’ take on the team. “Amazing what @neko_sparks is trying to do in Ottawa & I’m looking forward to being a part of that ownership team. I WANNA BRING HOCKEY TO OUR COMMUNITY,” he wrote.

Many might remember that the entrepreneur talked about his plans for the team during his meeting with Mayor Mark Sutcliffe. So it appears that all the hype built around Senators is attracting more people towards it. Moreover, if the 51-year-old star wins over Ryan Reynolds and other bidders, he will become the first black owner of the NHL team.

However, he also made it clear that this is a rumor and nothing has been reported now.
