Deadpool & Wolverine may not align perfectly with Ryan Reynolds' original vision, but he is sparing no effort to ensure its future success. Currently, all his social media updates revolve around Deadpool & Wolverine. His latest teaser came via an Instagram story selfie with Shawn Levy from the movie’s editing room.

In the typical Merc with a Mouth fashion, Reynolds captioned the story, “Homestretch in Deadpool & Honeybadgers edit room,” referring to the final stages of Deadpool & Wolverine’s production. He humorously noted that “the light at the end of the tunnel isn't a train” this time. Instead, it could be the Marvel montage heralding the arrival of Deadpool & Wolverine on the big screen, with their iconic tagline, “Let’s F***ing Go.”

The cameos in Deadpool & Wolverine have been a major source of excitement for fans since the beginning. As fans continue to speculate about who will make an appearance and who might be left out, it turns out that Chris Hemsworth's cameo as Thor is a result of editorial finesse rather than new filming. Thor’s cameo footage premiered at CinemaCon 2024, showing Thor mourning over Deadpool’s body (Ryan Reynolds), mirroring the scene from Thor: The Dark World where he grieves for Loki.

This cameo was crafted using the existing footage from Thor: The Dark World. Surprisingly, even Hemsworth was unaware of this inclusion until the revelation. In a May interview with Comicbook.com, Hemsworth expressed his surprise and delight, adding, "it's really cool." Now fans have a small yet tantalizing spoiler about Reynolds and Shawn Levy’s final touches in the editing room, enough to keep their excitement sky-high.
