In the history of entertainment, if there is one who can counter the late Matthew Perry’s sarcastic wisecracks, it would be Ryan Reynolds. The actor is notoriously famous for his comedic timing and on-spot quips that always strike a home run. Moreover, the 47-year-old sweeps his fans off with his long-time ‘frenemy’ conversations. While he usually keeps the banter and trolling open to co-star, Hugh Jackman and his wife, Blake Lively, Wrexham co-owner, Rob McElhenney, now has also made it to the frequenter list. Despite such bonhomie, in one latest commercial, the latter was conspicuously ‘replaced’.

Standing tall as one of the most creative geniuses to ever walk, the Deadpool 3 star made a ‘legal’ decision to not include his co-owner mate.

In the age of streaming, viewers may not stand advertisements kicking in between their content. However, Ryan Reynolds begs an exception. The actor has such a knack for creativity that his envisioned commercials garner tons of praise and views. In his many such commercials, Wrexham co-owner, Rob McElhenney, often guest-stars. Yet, in the latest one for Aviation Gin, the actor swapped him with singer Rob Thomas. The reason was McElhenney’s ownership of the whiskey brand, Four Walls, which bars him from promoting the competition.

Summarizing the same, Reynolds stated that McElhenney was not legally allowed to be in Aviation Gin commercials”. The advert then goes on to have the “other Rob” sing in Welsh appended by the actor’s trademark humor. Additionally, the thirty-second promotional went on to YouTube and sits there with an impressive haul of more than a hundred and fifty thousand views. Moreover, the advert also showcased the production skills of the star’s other venture, Maximum Effort.
