Ryan Reynolds Celebrates His “Indescribable” Love for Wrexham Post It’s 4-1 Takeover

Wrexham AFC felt a bit under-equipped when striker Paul Mullin got injured. With
Mullin back on the field, the team is now firing on all cylinders. Despite a
setback with a pre-season injury, Mullin has continued to shine, scoring 10
goals in 19 games since the promotion to League Two, including the Wrexham AFC
vs Barrow AFC match. To celebrate this victory, Ryan Reynolds
[https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/ryan-reynolds/] shared his love for the team on
X, formerly Twitter. “The love for this club and town: Indescribable“, wrote
Reynolds.

Apart from having Paul Mullin back to his form, Wrexham had a few more fireworks
than expected, amidst the merriment of the new year. The club’s official X
account shared an update confirming Paul Mullin and Elliot Lee’s contract
extension until 2027. With 89 goals in 116 games since his 2021 arrival, Mullin
has proven to be a prolific scorer for the club. Meanwhile, Lee’s arrival was
the driving force behind Wrexham’s promotion from the National League last
season

Both co-owners, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, were over the moon with the
successful deals. Reynolds, keeping it short and sweet, tweeted “Happy New Year,
Wrexham AFC,” while McElhenney chimed in with “Good start to 2024!“. Amidst all
the merriment, a touch of disappointment crept in too as one of the players from
the opposing team suffered a severe injury during the game.

In response, Ryan Reynolds turned to social media and posted a heartfelt message
on Instagram, extending his support to the stricken star.

RYAN REYNOLDS WISHED THE INJURED PLAYER WELL

The Red Dragons, making an impressive return to the Football League after a
15-year hiatus, currently hold the third spot in League Two. The credit for this
remarkable feat also goes to the infectious positivity and motivation injected
by co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. Their support not only rallies
their teammates but also across the pitch. In the recent tussle against Barrow
AFC, the match hit a hiccup for ten minutes in the first half when David Worrall
got injured.

> Hoping David Worrall is okay. 🙏 🙏

As medics hurried onto the field to attend to the injured player, he underwent a
10-minute treatment before being carefully stretchered off, making way for Luca
Stephenson. Ryan Reynolds took to social media and sent his best wishes to the
injured player, saying, “Hoping David Worrall is okay.” Nevertheless, Wrexham
AFC emerged victorious in the match, acting as a testament to Reynolds’ undying
love and the burning midnight oil for his team.
