The Jeffrey Epstein scandal has shockingly managed to rock the entire world. Several big names from different countries and even those distantly connected to the case have been dragged into the mud. Even a member of the royal family, Ex-Prince Andrew, has been arrested in relation to the same. 

While the royal family quietly took steps by removing Prince Andrew’s royal title over his alleged links to Epstein, most members have remained largely silent. This includes the current Prince of Wales, Prince William. However, this silence has been heavily debated on social media, with many even criticising the prince for not speaking publicly on the matter.

Ex Prince Andrew’s arrest on February 19 has rattled many. However, it is Prince William who has faced heavy criticism for reportedly failing to connect with the younger generation, according to The Independent. The report noted that many people claimed the prince appeared “out of touch" in the matter. 

Moreover, Prince William and Kate Middleton's presence at several public events has only added to the anger. The two were also present at the BAFTA ceremony.

Prince William also recently appeared at an event for BBC Radio 1 but did not mention the situation. 

However, royal experts have revealed that although the prince has not spoken publicly in detail, he has been working behind the scenes. Ian Pelham Turner, a royal expert, also said the same about the Prince.

“In reality, William has been ferociously driving the total banishment of Andrew since 2019, after the ‘Newsnight’ car crash interview. This has caused huge rows with his father,” Turner told Fox News Digital.

But the chatter and allegations that are dismissed by royal experts do not seem likely to end anytime soon. Even on streaming platforms, documentaries focusing on Epstein have seen a rise.

Documentaries about Jeffrey Epstein are gaining massive traction on streaming platforms. Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich, recently ranked on Netflix’s global Top 10, was even at No. 1 in countries like Germany and Austria. The docuseries holds strong ratings, including 82% on Rotten Tomatoes and 7.1/10 on IMDb.

This quite clearly shows the world’s attention on the issue. Directed by Lisa Bryant and executive produced by James Patterson, the series was created after extensive investigative research. Other titles like Surviving Jeffrey Epstein (2020), Who K----- Jeffrey Epstein? have also gained much attention. 

With such zapped interest, it seems that the audience will be holding Prince William on the hook a little longer.
