At its center is the production of NBC’s Dateline program To Catch a Predator, which used online decoys and law enforcement to expose alleged child predators. Directed by Lance Oppenheim, Primetime turns that notorious television phenomenon into a true-story drama about what happens when catching criminals becomes a primetime spectacle.
