Robert Pattinson's new movie, Die My Love, is set to make the audience squirm and also think. It is a black comedy drama film directed by Lynne Ramsay, with the original story from Ariana Harwicz. Whipping up a first-time unique on-screen pairing between two of young adult romance's biggest stars, Pattinson plays Jackson, opposite Jennifer Lawrence's Grace, who enters into psychosis following postpartum depression. The movie detonates a bomb of dormant emotions with a woman's rage, anguish, lust, and suspicion at the forefront.

Produced by Martin Scorsese and Lawrence, alongside others, the movie initially premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in competition for the Palme d'Or on May 17, 2025. It will be released in theaters in the US on November 7, 2025. LaKeith Stanfield, Nick Nolte, Sissy Spacek, and Gabrielle Rose round out the supporting cast of this highly anticipated Robert Pattinson new film.

2. The Odyssey

Whenever Christopher Nolan gets behind the lens of a movie, the eyes of the entire planet sparkle with anticipation. The Odyssey is the next big blockbuster from Nolan, which is an adaptation of Homer’s canonical epic. It features an entire constellation of Hollywood stars, certainly including Robert Pattinson, alongside Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Lupita Nyong’o, Mia Goth, Jon Bernthal, and more.

Almost as epic as Odysseus' perilous journey to Ithaca after the Trojan War is the production and budget of this gigantic fantasy movie. It is promised to be one of the most audacious films in the next few years, as it is expected to premiere on 17 July 2026. Pattinson is speculated by Chi magazine to support Odysseus in key moments as Hermes, a mischievous Greek god known as the herald and messenger of the Olympian deities.

3. Dune: Part Three

Dune: Part Three is reportedly bringing the Twilight actor to the center of Arrakis alongside Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh, Jason Momoa, Josh Brolin, Rebecca Ferguson, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Zendaya. Denis Villeneuve will be at the helm again, and the film will continue the sci-fi epic that was started with Dune and Dune: Part Two.

According to Deadline, Pattinson will reportedly be a key member of the cast, and he might portray a villainous character, Scytale, who is involved in the intricate political maneuverings of the Dune universe. This new Robert Pattinson movie arrives in theatres on 18 December 2026, with the heavy themes of power, betrayal, and prophecy, adding this Oscar-winning franchise to his rich filmography.

4. Primetime

Primetime takes the Little Ashes actor from the world of myth and science fiction to the very shadows of real-world moral darkness: underworld crime. The film is directed by Lance Oppenheim and backed by A24. Pattinson not only stars in the film alongside Phoebe Bridgers, Merritt Wever, Sean Bridgers, Skyler Gisondo, and Matthew Maher but also produces it.

Primetime is a crime drama that takes its inspiration from the methodologies of investigative journalism, dealing with subject matters that are rarely discussed and revealing terrifying truths. The movie derives its story from the early 2000s television news magazine program Dateline NBC. Its filming has begun, with principal photography completing in the early part of 2025.

5. The Drama

Reuniting with Dune star Zendaya once more, Robert Pattinson's upcoming movie The Drama dresses him in a romantic drama suit. The film, directed by Kristoffer Borgli, is set to be a stylish twist to a rom-com that will explore and deliver topsy-turvy emotional complexity. It arrives in theaters on April 3, 2026. A24 produces the film via Square Peg, with Borgli writing the screenplay.

The Drama is expected to showcase the relationships under the burden and intensity of love, the struggle for identity, and the subtle cracks between people. In case one imagines Pattinson only in one-dimensionally dark and gritty roles, this movie holds immense potential to surprise the lot with its unexpected revelations, leading to a regular couple's love gone awry.

Speaking of dark roles, a new movie with Robert Pattinson plunges into the genre of high-octane heist thrillers, like never seen before.

6. Here Comes the Flood

Denzel Washington, Robert Pattinson, and Daisy Edgar-Jones, under the direction of Academy Award nominee Fernando Meirelles, bring the story of a not-so-regular heist with a bank guard, a teller, and a master thief at the center. Here Comes the Flood will see the Remember Me star in a different genre altogether as the tensions in this heist film are set to unfold in a non-linear fashion, unlike conventional heist movies.

This Netflix heist original, among its goldmine of such thrillers, is expected to wrap production on January 22, 2026. Its principal photography began on September 22, 2025, with the movie primarily filmed in locations such as Jersey City, Atlanta, and New York City. Netflix has yet to announce a release date for Here Comes the Flood.

7. The Batman Part II

Arresting the audience globally with his vengeance, Robert Pattinson once put on the most coveted cowl in the history of superheroes, and a dramatic, smoky eyeshadow, of course. He will now return as the masked vigilante in The Batman: Part II on October 1, 2027. Although a lot remains a mystery, the anticipation is enormous as the upcoming film will be exploring a more sinister and intricate Gotham, which is crucial to Batman's insurmountable aura.

Back as Bruce Wayne, Pattinson's next film about the Caped Crusader launches him back to Gotham under the direction of Matt Reeves, once again carrying on with the moody-noir vibe of the first film. According to returning cast member Colin Farrell, "It’s a masterwork. Kind of a contemporary genre masterwork,” as he revealed on the Happy Sad Confused podcast. Arguably, one of the most-anticipated superhero films, The Batman: Part II, now has an embarrassment of riches to compete with when it comes to Robert Pattinson's upcoming movies.
