Robert Pattinson is currently busy with the promotion of his latest release, Primetime, where he plays a charater inspired by Chris Hansen, the host of the controversial reality TV show To Catch a Predator. However, it has really become difficult for the actor not to talk about The Batman sequel whenever he is in front of the media. In a recent interview with the Italian film publication MYmovies.it, the actor teased how radically different the script for The Batman Part II is from the previous installment.
“It’s just amazing it’s a quite radical change to the script and it’s cool that Warners & DC are behind it… it’s like a really radical retelling of Batman,” said Pattinson.

Further in the MYmovies.it interview, Robert Pattinson expressed enthusiasm for the bold creative direction of The Batman Part II. The actor praised Warner Bros. and DC for fully supporting the project, noting that director Matt Reeves is likely the only filmmaker entrusted with executing such a daring vision. Calling it a truly radical retelling of the Caped Crusader's story, Pattinson voiced confidence that audiences will ultimately be thrilled by the fresh approach.
The enthusiasm about the new Batman movie is clearly visible in these comments, and the actor really wants the audience to know that this time the story takes yet another approach to the lore of the Caped Crusader. Even though Robert Pattinson was initially chosen to play a younger Batman who was just two years into his career combating crime, the actor is suffering as a result of the four years that passed between the release of the first movie and the sequel's filming. In an interview with GQ, Pattinson said that although the filming is going well, the most challenging aspect is that he is older now than when he made the last film.
"It’s good. I’m definitely feeling my age when fighting a lot. I’m literally like, 'Goddamn, this is significantly harder than it used to be.' But it’s really fun," shared the 40-year-old actor.
