New images have revealed a major character from the horror movie Pinocchio: Unstrung, the fifth installment in The Twisted Childhood Universe. Director Rhys Frake-Waterfield has shared first-look images from Pinocchio: Unstrung on his Instagram, revealing the movie's terrifying version of Jiminy Cricket, now named Cricket. Horror icon Robert Englund, best known for his portrayal of Freddy Krueger, will lend his voice to the role of Jiminy Cricket in the film.
The upcoming film will follow a young man, portrayed by Cameron Bell, who learns the horrifying story of the titular killer doll from his grandfather, Geppetto, played by Richard Brake. Director Rhys Frake-Waterfield has expressed a clear vision, emphasising his commitment to using practical effects for the upcoming movie.
