Later that September, they were spotted together on the streets of New York City. As per Page Six, the pair were photographed leaving a heliport in New York City alongside the actress' 13-year-old son, Tennessee.

The following day, they were seen holding hands as they walked through the city, further fueling dating speculation. In May 2025, Page Six reported that Witherspoon and Haarmann were planning to move in together and were searching for a luxury apartment in New York City. The couple was also spotted enjoying time together in St. Tropez, France.
