Child stardom comes with missing teeth, Hollywood meddling, and, unfortunately, some seriously creepy grown-ups. Miley Cyrus reportedly faced pressure to preserve her signature look during Hannah Montana, while Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen wore fake clip-on baby teeth on Full House to keep Michelle Tanner's smile identical. Sadly, Dafne Keen discovered that childhood fame could come with unwanted Bibles, bizarre gifts, and grown men who seriously needed boundaries.

Dafne Keen has now touched up on how a some people took the whole fan devotion thing far too literally.

Dafne Keen is opening up about the unsettling side of childhood fame, revealing how her breakout role in Logan brought unwanted attention from adult male fans. Speaking on Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum, the actress recalled how strangers began turning up at her school in Madrid, with the attention quickly escalating into something far more disturbing than ordinary fan enthusiasm.

"I experienced quite a lot of very creepy um p******** men who would send letters and Bibles to my house and music boxes and would like follow me to school," she said.

For Dafne Keen, the attention was particularly uncomfortable given her young age and the male-dominated fandom surrounding superhero franchises.

"It was terrifying when people started showing up at my like tiny school in Madrid with like pop cameras. That was scary," Keen said while recalling the sudden influx of strangers at her school.

However, the actress found a way to keep these frightening encounters from overshadowing her appreciation for genuine fans.

"A bad person is like someone with a drum in a waiting room. They're just really loud. But there's another 30 people who are being perfectly quiet and respectful," Keen explained sharing her grandmother's advice on the podcast.

That perspective has helped Dafne Keen navigate fan interactions without allowing one disturbing encounter to define the experience.

"There might be one weirdo, but before that weirdo, I've met 90 lovely people who have come to just like chat and have a nice time. So why would I negate the whole experience over one person being odd?" she reflected.

Hugh Jackman may have been her on-set guardian; one would have to be proud of Keen's ideals because the outside world had some seriously unsettling ideas about boundaries, especially considering how famous she became.

The level of fame that Dafne Keen got from Logan

Dafne Keen's rise to fame was nothing short of meteoric. At just 12 years old, the young actress stole the spotlight in Logan, holding her own alongside Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart despite having fewer than 30 spoken words. Her ferocious portrayal of Laura (X-23) earned widespread critical acclaim, with The Hollywood Reporter ranking her performance among the 17 greatest superhero movie performances of all time. Keen also took home the Empire Award for Best Newcomer and an MTV Movie + TV Award for Best Duo with Hugh Jackman.

Speaking on Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum, Keen reflected on how that overnight success transformed her life, bringing global recognition before she had even finished navigating childhood. The breakout role opened doors to major franchises, with the actress subsequently starring as Lyra Belacqua in HBO's His Dark Materials and joining the Star Wars universe as Jecki Lon in The Acolyte. But as Keen revealed, becoming a familiar face to millions came with a decidedly less glamorous side to growing up in the spotlight.
