Twenty-seven completed seasons of Kardashian reality television have transformed the family from reality TV curiosities into billionaires with fashion empires, beauty brands, and cultural influence that rivals traditional Hollywood royalty. Kim Kardashian sits at the center of it all, having parlayed a leaked tape and a reality show into SKIMS, SKKN, legal ambitions, and A-list status.
Yet despite the mansions, the private jets, and the Met Gala invitations, one Hollywood honor still eludes her: a star on the Walk of Fame. Kardashian recently revealed why that dream remains frustratingly out of reach.
And the reason is as blunt as it is revealing.
Kim Kardashian wants her name on Hollywood Boulevard
Apparently, conquering the celebrity multiverse does not automatically unlock every achievement badge. During The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian admitted she had misunderstood how the Walk of Fame worked.
“But I've never qualified because like reality TV isn't walk of Star worthy,” she explained. Twenty years of cameras, headlines, family arguments, and wardrobes apparently cannot persuade Hollywood to surrender a sidewalk tile. Her supporting evidence came with an unexpectedly furry plot twist.

“I mean Lassie has one, Miss Piggy has one. I'd like one, it would be nice,” Kardashian said.
Lassie indeed received a star in 1960. Miss Piggy shares the honor awarded to the Muppets in 2012, although the image of Kardashian competing against a glamorous puppet deserves its own six-episode miniseries.
Hollywood's objections have a history. In 2011, Walk of Fame representatives dismissed reality stars. Today, the official nomination guidelines list professional achievement, at least five years in an entertainment category, community contributions, and a commitment to attend the ceremony.
And Kardashian has already started assembling a potential Hollywood redemption arc.
The Fifth Wheel gives Kim Kardashian a new Hollywood mission
Enter Netflix, armed with an ensemble comedy and enough Vegas chaos to make a superhero crossover look orderly. Kim Kardashian leads and produces The Fifth Wheel, directed by Eva Longoria. Nikki Glaser, Fortune Feimster, and Brenda Song play longtime friends whose reunion explodes into awkwardness when Kardashian's outsider crashes their Las Vegas getaway.

Netflix shared production photographs in January 2026, confirming cameras were rolling. Its official announcement still says “coming soon,” leaving a firm premiere date under wraps. Somewhere, a publicist is guarding that calendar like the Infinity Stones.
Meanwhile, her past is receiving a far darker screen treatment. Canal+ has commissioned Kim, the Diamond and the Grandpa Robbers, a four-part examination of her terrifying 2016 Paris robbery, featuring testimony from people connected to the case. Kardashian is reportedly uninvolved.
