Amazon Prime Video renewed Reacher for Season 4 before its third season had even aired. That is the kind of trust the streamer has in one of its most prized IPs. Now the popular action series, which has been in production for months, is finally set to return with a highly energetic new installment. The upcoming season, like its predecessors, will center on Jack Reacher, a former military police detective who becomes embroiled in yet another perilous scheme. 

The show's casting pattern has grown as intriguing as its action-packed drama and lone-wolf hero storyline. The following cast guide will surely help in understanding who will play whom going forward.

Alan Ritchson: Without Alan Ritchson, Reacher would not exist, and season 4 carries on the tradition. His portrayal of Jack Reacher, who has the same muscularity and subdued confidence as the series thus far, continues to serve as the show's pillar.

Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette: Jacob Merrick, who is most likely based on the book character Jacob Mark, will be portrayed by Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette, who was previously supposed to be played by the This Is the End star, Jay Baruchel. Merrick is Susan's brother and a police officer from a small New Jersey town.

Sydelle Noel: Noel, who is most recognized for her role as wrestler Cherry Bang in Netflix's GLOW, will play Tamara Green. She is likely to take on an assertive, proactive position that could support Reacher at work or present him with a challenge in stressful situations.

ANGEZ MO: The Indonesian singer will play Lila Honth. The official character descriptions describe Lila as a young Indonesian woman who travels to Philadelphia with her mother, Amisha, in order to find her biological father, an American.

Anggun: Another Indonesian singer who will play Lila’s mother. Not much is revealed about the character, but the mother-daughter duo has a major role in the upcoming season.

Kevin Weisman: Russell Plum, a freelance journalist in Washington, D.C., who has been monitoring a possible CIA black site, will be portrayed by Weisman (Alias, Suits LA).

Marc Blucas: Blucas, who is best known for his part in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and currently stars in My Life with the Walter Boys, will portray dubious U.S. Congressman John Samson, who is taken directly from the novel. 

Kathleen Robertson: Elsbeth Samson, John Samson's wife, will be portrayed by Robertson (The Expanse, Bates Motel). Not much is known about her character in the upcoming season at the moment.

Kevin Corrigan: Corrigan will play Detective Docherty, a law enforcement official and Tamara Green's partner, who, depending on changing allegiances, could be Reacher's ally or an enemy.

With so many newcomers joining the cast of season 4, the intrigue around the storyline for the upcoming season has increased tenfold.

The plot of Gone Tomorrow will probably be adapted for Reacher season 4. In the narrative, Reacher becomes entangled in a significant mystery after seeing a lady who fits the profile of a possible suicide bomber commit suicide in front of him, raising concerns about her shadowy history as a Pentagon employee.

Three episodes of Reacher season 4 will debut on Wednesday, August 12. After that, episodes will be released on Amazon Prime Video every week until the conclusion on September 16, 2026.
