Gareth Davies, a former producer on Top of the Pops, named Shania Twain as the biggest diva of his career, recalling a ritual her crew followed just to keep her moving. Twain reportedly never touched a door herself, forcing her entourage into a rehearsed relay of opening every door ahead of her arrival, though Davies noted that Jennifer Lopez and Madonna brought their own versions of star behavior to the same show.

"It was quite fascinating to see … It was sort of like this regimented, rehearsed line that if someone faltered," he told Page Six.

According to Davies, Madonna arrived with the largest entourage he had ever seen, and her stylist once forgot to bring her outfits entirely, leaving the team scrambling before showtime.
