But one such comedy jibe landed the Deadpool actor in trouble.

However, he set the record straight with Palmer.


RYAN REYNOLDS’S HEARTFELT APOLOGY

While talking exclusively on the Fearless in Devotion podcast in May, Ryan
Reynolds shared his playful equation with Wrexham player Ollie Palmer. He
further mentioned that every time his family comes to watch the game and walks
down to the dressing room the Wrexham player walks out completely shirtless to
have a conversation with Blake Lively. To which he responded, “Ollie put on a
f***ing shirt” and asking Palmer to speak to her like a gentleman. A funny jibe
that was later blown out of proportion and the actor felt the need to apologize.



The footballer found himself in the middle of a media storm after the joke went
public. Further, while talking on The Sports Breakfast recently, Palmer revealed
that the majority of players take their shirts off after a game; he just did not
put one back on when he saw them. He further revealed that the Deadpool actor
messaged him, “I’m so sorry,” after the entire context of the joke was taken out
of line. There was no bad blood, however, because the joke was a typical Ryan
Reynolds affair.
