Prince Harry is reportedly preparing to pay tribute to his mother, Princess Diana, with a new documentary. Princess Diana is remembered around the world for her kindness and humanitarian work. And even after nearly 3 decades, her legacy has continued to live in people's hearts.

Now, ahead of the 30th anniversary on August 31, 2027, the Duke of Sussex is said to be exploring several meaningful projects to honor her life, memories, and impact in the world. Among them is reportedly a documentary tribute.

As PEOPLE magazine reported, Prince Harry is exploring a new documentary project to remember and honor his mother, Princess Diana. It further added that the Duke of Sussex has reportedly been reaching out to friends and family members of Prince Diana. However, PEOPLE confirmed that as of now, there is no documentary finalised.

PEOPLE also reported that Prince Harry is exploring other ideas and projects to honour his mother. Back in 2022, in a conversation with people, the Duke of Sussex mentioned that he always hopes to make his mother proud. While the rumours are not confirmed, Prince Harry is seemingly keeping up with his efforts to honor Princess Diana and make her proud.

Previously, Prince Harry appeared alongside his brother Prince William in the 2017 documentary Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy, ahead of Princess Diana’s 20th anniversary. Both spoke about losing their mother early in their lives. While Prince Harry was 12, his brother was 15 at the time of the shocking accident in 1997.

Now, there are quite a few documentaries about the global icon. One of the most recent is the HBO documentary The Princess, which came out in 2022. Whether a documentary will mark the 30th anniversary remains to be seen.

And while Prince Harry looks to honor his mother’s legacy, another iconic piece of Princess Diana’s history is making headlines.

Apart from Princess Diana’s humanitarian work, she was also known for her impressive fashion sense. One of the most headline-making moments in Princess Diana’s fashion history came when she wore a striking black dress to a Vanity Fair fundraising dinner at London’s Serpentine Gallery on June 29, 1994, following Prince Charles’ shocking revelation.

The iconic dress is now headed for auction. Sotheby’s will feature the dress in a standalone live fashion evening auction on December 9, 2026, at the Breuer Building in New York City. This explains that nearly three decades later, Princess Diana’s life, legacy, and iconic style remain as memorable as ever.
