Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to enter a fresh chapter with their return to the UK, as Markle is expected to come and go between Britain and California. The Sussexes are coming to Britain for a long visit with their children, six years after stepping back from royal duties and moving to the USA. Since then, they have built an independent life away from the royal household while remaining closely followed. 

Now, after years of building a life away from the palace, the Sussexes’ return to Britain could look very different. 

Meghan Markle plans to be in both Britain and California

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are planning a longer trip to the UK and reports suggest that Markle may "come and go" between Britain and California, as per Daily Mail. The couple is likely to have a private, non-royal base somewhere outside of London as their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are to start school in the UK. in September. While the prince could spend more time reconnecting with Britain and his family, his wife is expected to divide her time between the UK and their Montecito home.

The Sussexes are expected to divide their time between the countries as they adapt to their new arrangement, as per the report. They are said to be celebrating Christmas at the family’s Montecito home instead of the traditional royal gathering at Sandringham. The family is also expected to stop at their holiday home in Portugal.
