Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are setting major couple goals as they return to Canada, enjoying a cozy getaway together. The country played a big role in their relationship and also when they left royal duties years ago, and now they are back. Markle used to live in Canada when she filmed Suits, and the couple spent time there after stepping back from their roles as senior working royals. 

Their latest Canada appearance comes as the couple continues to maintain ties with the country.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were recently seen together in Canada, dressed up for an event and sharing a moment. On Friday, August 7, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in a charity event to support their longtime friend David Foster, who was celebrating four decades of fundraising through the David Foster Foundation. Markle took to Instagram the following day to share a candid snap from the night, in which she and Prince Harry can be seen smiling for the camera.

The first photo shows the couple, who first met through a mutual friend, squished together as they take a selfie inside a car, with a beautiful scenic background visible behind them. Prince Harry is wearing a black tuxedo, and Markle is in a dark dress, with her hair pulled back in a bun. Their dress is coordinated and formal, which makes it seem like the photo was taken around a special occasion. 

The Instagram post also shows the couple mingling at the event, walking past a group of musicians and performers dressed in traditional attire. This setting provides an insight into the cultural climate of their appearance and adds another layer to their visit to Canada. Markle kept her caption short and sweet, opting not to add a long message to the post.

Reports have cited a limited audience performance as the reason for the cancellation, with Season 2 not making Netflix’s U.S. Top 10. Additionally, sources have said Markle wants to pivot back to her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
