Politicians usually maintain a distance from royal controversies. However, the racism accusations brought to light by Omid Scobie in Endgame, have compelled a departure from this norm. Consequently, a legislative proposal will be introduced this week that would explore the controversial “nuclear option” to strip the Sussexes off their royal titles. Conservative MP Bob Seely will be spearheading this initiative as he is frustrated by the Sussexes’ “poisonously insidious” attempt to tarnish the royal image, as per his statement to Daily Mail.

The proposed modifications have also been given the green light by the Parliament’s Table Office, and the Bill is slated to appear on the Commons’ Order Paper next week. All of this could have been avoided  the accidental publishing of an excerpt within Omid Scobie’s book had not happened.
