Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stopped by the Kinsey African American Art & History Collection as part of its panel discussion. The Sussex couple held feature talks and an educational session for the collection, currently on an exhibit tour, that hosts a bevy of items, highlighting the various aspects of African American history. Furthermore, mentions of their Archewell Foundation supporting the event also popped out in yet another example of their continued foray into charitable and humanitarian endeavors. 

Dressed in a black dress adorned by white floral patterns, the Duchess complemented her husband, who paired himself with a white shirt and a dark suit. The discussions came as part of the tour's outreach and cultural engagement to offer insights into history through art and culture. The visit by the couple at the fine art exhibit in Sofi Stadium comes alongside the exhibit's parallel outings at Houston’s Holocaust Museum, on view from January 24th through June 23rd.

The Los Angeles leg of the Kinsey Collection exhibit will stay on view until March 31. Moreover, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attending the event would help bolster its over 15 million viewership for an assortment pegged at $10 million. Finally, the appearance alongside the well-rounded look at African American history and culture might also help the royal couple’s goals of philanthropy through on-ground and media pursuits with Archewell.

However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle presented the NAACP–Archewell Foundation Digital Civil Rights Award virtually to the Algorithmic Justice League founder, Dr. Joy Buolamwini, for her pursuit and advocacy of AI civil rights. The win evoked the comments of raising awareness through “advocacy, art, and research,” echoing the couple’s sentiments.

The Sussexes have stayed religiously active, with their social outlook boasting of widespread humanitarian works and achievements. However, recent times have pushed them to a slightly chaotic scenario following the outburst after the Kate Middleton photoshop row. The allegations of image manipulation in the Duchess of Sussex’s Princess Lillibet pregnancy photo even had the photographer and director of the Oscar-nominated short film, The After’s director, Misan Harriman, speak out in their defense.
